The approved construction hours are Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm, and on Saturdays from 8am to 5pm.
We will communicate any planned works outside of these hours in advance.
For the duration of the project there is:
no access to the shared southern path on the riverbank between Wilde Avenue and Church Street
no access to the staircase on the southern side of Barry Wilde Bridge on Wilde Avenue
pedestrian access via Phillip Street and George Khattar Lane.
The project aims to minimise the impact of works to the local community, including keeping noise, dust and vibration to a minimum.
The health and safety of the community is our priority. All construction activities are in accordance with the approved construction management plans.
October - November 2024
During the next period of works, you will see Lendlease working on:
Delivery of oversized structural steel outside of standard construction hours due to road restrictions
Installation of structural steel on both buildings
Installation of precast concrete and glass façade panels, concrete slab works and internal wall works on both buildings
Continuation of infrastructure and services works to electrical submains, plant rooms, and the storm water diversion on Wilde Avenue.
Wilde Avenue western footpath closure expected from Monday 14 October through to the end of the year. This closure is necessary to facilitate safe construction activities on the eastern side of Building B.
We will keep the community informed and provide regular updates on construction activities.
Minimising our environmental impact and reducing unwanted mail is important to us. A ‘digital first’ approach for the distribution of communication material is being adopted.
